My Favorite Summer Dress

My favorite summer dress this year is the "Naughty 1950’s Seaside Postcard" dress from British Retro.

I combined it with bananas for extra summer funk. 🍌🍌🍌

I just hope my colleagues at work don't take a closer look at the fabric!

The "Oma Barbarella" Dress

I bought this dress at Humana (a local thrift store). It was so crazy-ugly and it was screaming my name. Anybody I showed it to shrunk back in horror at the sight of it.

But I knew better....:-)

I fell in love with the psychedelic, swirly, green-orange-gold design...

...and turned it into a rockin' wiggle dress.

I baptized it the "Oma Barbarella Dress" and it made its debut while I sang Blondie, The Cranberries etc. covers at the UN Staff party with the rock band The Wild Ones.
